After nine games on the road, the Bob Jones University Bruins baseball team returns home for a three-game weekend home stand to host Paine College at Conestee Park.
It's been week since the Bruins took to the field due to weather postponing their game on Tuesday. Last weekend, the Bruins faced off against NCCAA opponent Toccoa Falls College. Henry Wallach pitched his second complete game of the season to help the Bruins pick up their third win of the season and their second against Toccoa Falls. The Bruins dropped both of their Saturday games going 1-2 against the Screaming Eagles.
Coming into this weekend's series, the Bruins are 3-19 on the season. The Bruins will look to improve on their home record as they currently sit 2-10.
Looking towards Paine College, the Lions enter this weekend 13-5. The result from their last recorded game was a high scoring affair as the Lions fell 14-23 against Atlantis University on March 26.
This will be the first meeting between the two schools. Friday's game is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. and Saturday's doubleheader will begin at 12:30 p.m. from Conestee Park.
