The school year may be finished, but the Bruins baseball team isn't done yet as they head into post-season play at the NCCAA South Regional Tournament to be held at Carolina University in Mocksville, North Carolina May 9-12.
"It's seven inning games going into the regional tournament and you could play up to two games a day, so there's a lot going on there," said Head Coach Brent Casteel. "But I think we're prepared and ready to go."
The following are the teams and seeding heading into next week's regional tournament.
	- #1 - University of Fort Lauderdale
- #2 - Carolina University
- #3 - Paine College
- #4 - Southeastern Baptist College
- #5 - Toccoa Falls College
- #6 - Trinity Baptist College
- #7 - Bob Jones University
The battle of the Bruins continues as Bob Jones begins their post-season play on Monday with 1:30 p.m. game against the Carolina University Bruins. The BJU Bruins will look to pick up their first ever win against the host school as the two sides have met six times this season and nine times in program history with Carolina holding the 9-0 record.
Depending on the result of the first game for the Bruins, they will either advance to play the winner of Paine College vs Trinity Baptist College on Tuesday or face their first elimination game Monday evening against the loser of the Paine College vs Trinity Baptist College matchup.
As the tournament continues, the Bruins have the chance to face University of Fort Lauderdale, Southeastern Baptist College and Trinity Baptist College for the first time this season. Against the other three teams, the Bruins were 4-11 during the 2022 regular season.
The South Region champion will be crowned after a noon game on May 12 where the winner will advance to the national tournament held in Kansas City, Missouri.
