After starting the season with four games on the road, the Bruins baseball team is back at Conestee Park in Greenville, South Carolina for their home opener Tuesday afternoon. The Bruins will host St. Andrews University with a 4 p.m. start time.

BJU comes into the week 2-2 after falling to Covenant College over the weekend. Covenant came out strong against the Bruins in Saturday's contest, and in the bottom of the first inning saw eight runners cross home plate. The Bruins got two runs on the board in the fourth and sixth inning, but it wasn't enough as they fell 16-2 to the Scots. 

The Knights enter the week with a 2-5 season record. After defeating Brewton-Parker in a narrow 8-7 decision on Friday, St. Andrews fell in back to back games on Saturday. 

The Bruins are on the hunt for their first win against St. Andrews as the two teams met three times last season with the Knights taking all three games.
