The Bob Jones University baseball team is back in action as they travel to Florida to face the University of Fort Lauderdale. The Bruins come into the week 3-14 on the season. They picked up a much needed win last Tuesday as they pulled out the 9-8 victory over Columbia International University from Fluor Field.
The Bruins and Eagles will face each other three times to start the week beginning with a 7 p.m. game on Monday before an afternoon double header on Tuesday.
Fort Lauderdale enters the week with a 15-13 season record. They have only dropped one of 12 home games this year and sit on a five game winning streak. It has been a high scoring affair for the Eagles as they have scored 96 runs in their last five games.
Monday marks the first meeting between the Bruins and the Eagles as the University of Fort Lauderdale joined the NCCAA back in the 2021-22 season. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Monday.
