The Bob Jones University baseball team travels to Jacksonville, Florida where they will compete in the NCCAA South Region tournament May 8-11.

Six teams will be competing at Trinity Baptist College with the seeding for the tournament listed below. 

• #1: Toccoa Falls College
• #2: University of Fort Lauderdale
• #3: Carolina University
• #4: Southeastern Baptist College
• #5: Trinity Baptist College
• #6: Bob Jones University 

The Bruins enter the week after finishing the regular season with a 10-6 win over Brevard College.

It will be a tough week of competition, but the Bruins look to put up a good fight as they kick off the tournament Monday morning.

At 10:30 a.m. it will be another battle of the Bruins as they take on the defending South Region Champions #3 Carolina University in game one. Bob Jones and Carolina met four times this season with a three-game weekend series in February followed by a home game at Conestee Park on April 21 where the CU Bruins took each of the games.

If BJU upsets #3 Carolina University, they will then take on #2 University of Fort Lauderdale at 3:30 p.m. Monday afternoon. Should they lose, the Bruins will play the loser of game 4 on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.

The South Region tournament will continue through Thursday where the championship game will be played at noon.
