With a week spent at home, the Bruins will take on Brevard College in their second to last away game of the regular season. The Bruins and Brevard College Tornados are scheduled to play in Brevard, North Carolina with first pitch at 4:00 p.m.

Bob Jones and Brevard have played each other three times on three separate occasions. The Tornados lead the series record 2-1, but the Bruins have the most recent win dating back to last season when the Bruins won 10-6 defending their home field.

Brevard College is NCAA DIII and compete in the USA South Athletic Conference. In their last series, they played Methodist University and won the series 2-1. Brevard won game one 8-3, lost game two 7-6, and won game three 12-10. After the finished series, the Tornados improved their season record to 16-10 and 9-3 in conference.

Over the course of this past week, the Bruins played a strong Truett McConnell University and matched up well with Paine College over the weekend. In each of the games, the Bruins had a lead and looked like they would come away with a win, but timely hits from their opponents found the Bruins finishing their week 1-3 with their lone win over Paine College. The highlight of the week was Joshua Legnard pitching another complete game, winning 6-1, and striking out 11 batters for his single game season high.
