Bruins Baseball Unveils 2025 Schedule

Bruins baseball is back for their fifth season and is excited to unveil their 2025 schedule.

"This year has certainly been one that none of us would've predicted, but we have been given the opportunity to learn for ourselves that God's grace is truly sufficient. In the fall, we had twenty-two guys who were committed to the Bob Jones University baseball program despite there being no guarantee of a program this season," Head Coach Kyle Morrison said. "By God's grace we are able to have a season and are able to field our largest team in the history of the program."

The Bruins will be playing 36 regular season games beginning at the end of January all the way through the end of April before competing in the NCCAA South Region Tournament in May. They will be playing 16 games in front of a home crowd at Conestee Park, the home of BJU Bruins baseball. There are 10 double-headers spread throughout the season with five at home and five on the road.

The new season begins on January 31 as the Bruins welcome Ohio Christian University to Conestee Park to begin a three-game series. This is the earliest start to a season the Bruins have had in program history.

The month of April will provide several opportunities for Bruins fans and Greenville natives to come and support the Bruins. They have seven home games in just about two weeks! Their opponents in that span are Truett McConnell University, Alice Lloyd College, and Carolina University.

The Bruins will look to improve on last season where they finished with a 13-26 record which was the most wins in the program's early history. They finished the regular season winning five of the last six games before going to the South Region tournament where they upset the #1 overall seed University of Fort Lauderdale in the first round.

It will be an almost brand new team for the Bruins as they are bringing in 15 brand new players to the team consisting of eight freshman and seven transfers. Joining this new class of players are four returning players that were away from the program for at least a year. These players consist of Reid Giggleman, Daniel Abbo, Gabrial Swarms, and Bryson French.

"The guys are eager and grateful to be able to play ball this spring and to hopefully lay a foundation to build off of for years to come," said Coach Morrison.

The Bruins begin their season January 31 at Conestee Park where they welcome Ohio Christian University for a double-header starting at 3:00 p.m. The full 2025 schedule can be seen here.
