Henry Rumble Named NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week for the Second Time

For the second time this season, the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) has named Bob Jones University Sport Management major Henry Rumble the DII Offensive Player of the Week for baseball.

"Henry, as has been the case all year long, was sensational this weekend," Head Coach Kyle Morrison said. "I'm really proud of him and am pumped that he's received this award twice now."

Rumble was nothing short of spectacular this past weekend against Baptist University of Florida in their four-game series.

In game one on Friday, Rumble went 3-4 with two RBIs and a home run. Rumble's quietest game was game two where he still got on base two out of three at bats with a hit and getting hit by a pitch.

Rumble's historic performance came in the series' game three to begin Saturday's doubleheader. He went 3-3 with a double, triple, and home run, tallying five RBIs and four runs scored. He came a single short of the cycle. To close the series, Rumble went 2-4 with four RBIs and a run scored.

With these performances, Rumble helped the Bruins pick up two wins on the weekend.

In total, he went 9-13 with 11 RBIs and six runs scored. His on-base percentage (OBP) for the weekend finished at .733 and his slugging percentage was 1.385.
