The Bruins are set to host region opponent Baptist University of Florida (BUF) for back-to-back doubleheaders this weekend at Conestee Park. 

This is the time of the season where the Bruins are looking to get hot and gain traction with the region tournament coming in about a month, and this weekend is a big chance to do that. Since BUF is a new member of the region, this will be the first time the two programs meet in history.

The Bruins are coming off a series against Toccoa Falls College where they picked up one win on a walkoff by Jacob Highsmith. As a whole, the Bruins offense is rolling. Defensive cleanup could help the Bruins deliver a few wins this weekend.

Alumni Appreciation Day and Bruins Buddies Baseball Day are both being celebrated during Saturday's doubleheader. After the second game, all Bruins Buddies will have the chance to run the bases and meet the Bruins baseball players.

The series between the Bruins and Eagles begins tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. at Conestee Park.
