The Bob Jones University track & field team is set to compete at the NCCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships this Thursday and Friday. Bob Jones is one of nearly 30 schools participating in the meet held at Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky.

On Thursday, Leonardo Mota will open the competition for Bob Jones in the 100 meter preliminaries followed by William Stark racing in the 200 meter preliminary. Lauren Jones will wrap up the day by racing 25 laps around the track in the 10k. 

The competition gets underway on Friday morning with freshmen Jacob Doshier and Judah Nash in the steeplechase. Then Will Stark and Jeremiah Medrano will toe the line for the 400 meter event. Misha Gray and Dillon Koop are set to follow in the 400 meter hurdles soon after. Joel Batres-Mena is the lone Bruin racing in the 800 meter race. The team will wrap up their time in Kentucky with the men's 4x400 meter relay. 

Solid training and highly competitive meets throughout the season have set the Bruins up for success at the national stage.
